What actually changes when your freebie gets used

Hi, Reader!
We've covered a lot of ground in our newsletters this month:

- why PDFs create friction

- what a well-built fillable lead magnet looks like

- how your freebie fits into the bigger picture of your client journey.

This week I want to close the loop with the part that actually makes it worth doing.

Here's the honest version of what changes when you have a lead magnet that gets used:

Your list stops being a number and starts being a warm audience. Someone who filled in your worksheet has done work alongside you. They know how you think. They've experienced your approach in a real, tangible way. When your next email lands in their inbox, they're not trying to remember who you are.

Your sales conversations get easier. When someone books a Chemistry Call after using your lead magnet, they arrive with context. They've already thought through the problem you help with. They're not starting from zero, and neither are you. The call moves faster and further because the freebie already did the early work.

And your content builds off all of your content. A lead magnet that gets used gets talked about, gets shared, and becomes a reference point that people come back to. A PDF sitting in a downloads folder does none of that.

This is what the team and I build toward with every lead magnet project. The Canva design that earns the first impression. The fillable format that earns the completion. The content structure that earns the next conversation. It's the whole thing, not just a pretty file.

If you've been thinking about this all month and you're ready to do something about it, see the full picture of what we offer in Canva (not just lead magnets!).

Or grab the freebie and see it in action yourself.

Liz
