You probably haven't audited this

Hi, Reader!

September always feels like the "get serious" month. Summer's almost over, routines are back, and there's this window before Q4 hits where you can actually fix things instead of just reacting to them.

So let's use it! This month, the team and I are focusing on auditing what you're actually running your business on, and cleaning up the stuff that's quietly costing you time.

Most people, when they think "audit my tech stack," go straight to the obvious: CRM, email platform, maybe their scheduling tool. Those matter, but there's a category almost nobody audits, and it's usually held together with more guesswork than anything else: content tech. Specifically, podcasting.

Got a show already, or keep meaning to start one? Be honest, is that setup as intentional as the rest of your business, or is it just kind of happening?

  1. My friend Kasey Brown at Teal Hat Communications is worth knowing either way. She's opening her Launch Squad program on September 15th, built to launch strategically instead of guessing your way through gear, platforms, and format. Not ready for the full program? Grab her free 30-minute Mic Check call, 1-2 practical tips from an award-winning podcast producer, whether you have a show or just an idea.
  2. And if the tech's fine but the coordination, guest booking, scheduling, follow-up is the actual mess (or will be, once you have a show), that's something my team and I handle. It's usually buried under my general VA services, so if you've never heard me say it out loud, now you have! Hit reply if not dealing with any guest booking sounds splendid to you.

Don't have a podcast and don't want one? I feel you. This month's real question is what's in your tech stack that you've never actually looked at twice?

We'll keep digging into this all September. Stick around!

xo,
Liz
