Happy New Year, Reader! Living with a genetic disorder and chronic pain means some seasons require more energy just to exist. Add in a tough economy and a business that serves other people, and I had to make some real choices about where my capacity went. Email did not make the cut. But here’s the important part. I did not disappear. I regrouped. I spent a lot of time doing what I help my clients do. Stepping back. Looking at what was actually working. Letting go of what wasn’t. Rebuilding systems so they supported my life instead of draining it. Strategy helped me:
That’s why my word of the year is arrival. Not reinvention. Not hustle. Not starting over. Arrival, as in:
This newsletter is part of that arrival. You won’t hear from me just to hear from me. You’ll hear from me when there’s something useful, grounding, or clarifying to share. And strategy is still the foundation of all of it. If your business feels loud, scattered, or heavier than it should right now, that’s not a motivation issue. That’s a clarity issue. And clarity is something we can fix. If you want help regrouping, resetting, or deciding what actually matters next, you can book a Strategy Session with us anytime. That is always the best place to start. I’m really glad you’re here and I’m looking forward to hearing all about what you’ve been up to in your business and how clarity would help you. Hit reply and let me know, I read all of these and reply myself. Health and happiness in 2026, |

Hi, Reader! You’re not behind. You’re not disorganized. You’re not failing at consistency. You’re just holding too much in your head. Most solopreneurs are doing multiple jobs at once. You’re the strategist, the implementer, and the accountability partner. You’re making decisions, executing them, and remembering everything that still needs to happen. That mental load adds up. Decision fatigue is real. When every task feels equally important, your brain never gets to rest. And when your...
Hi Reader!Last week I told you I’d share how clients use the Business Sanity Session to go from “stuck” to “handled.” Here’s what that looks like in real life: One client needed to set up an automation in Kit so people could register for her webinar. She’d been stuck for weeks, and we built it together in under an hour. Another came in with a tech tool she couldn’t get working. We troubleshot it live, flipped the switch, and it’s been running smoothly since. Others bring those “why am I still...
Hi Reader! We’re in that in-between season. Half our brain is still in summer, the other half is bracing for fall. And of course it shows up in business too: Too many ideas but no clear starting point. Half-finished projects you swore you’d wrap up in July. Client emails flagged… but still unopened. It feels like a desk piled high with sticky notes and no clear system to move forward. Here’s the thing: this season isn’t about hustling harder. It’s about catching the natural rhythm shift into...
